SOMEONE HELP i just had a c section and having pains and other stuff i need answers!?
go get an x-ray. its unlikely but there have been cases of equipment left inside people after operations such as this. very unlikly but still jsut in case take an x-ray.
Reply:If your Doctor is not talking to you about what is going on you need to go to a different one. I would do it soon. If you cant because of your insurance go to the emergency room. they will look at it and tell you what it is
Reply:the back pain sounds like a kidney infection due to the UTI not being properly cleared up. That needs to be addressed. So call your doctor.

The lumps underneath your arm and above your breast is due the engorgement of your breasts. I recommend pumping your breasts and massaging the lumps to break them up. This will regulate as soon as your body gets used to producing the amount of milk that your child needs unless of course you have decided not to breastfeed then it is your body's coping mechanism for all the excess milk storing in your breast. If that is the case then do not pump as it will encourage milk production. instead just gently massage your breasts in the shower.

C-sections suck and do have pain, but you shouldn't still be dealing with that much pain at 4 weeks.
Reply:i would call labor and delivery at your hospital where your c section took place and ask them or call your doctor and ask them.
Reply:i had the same bumps under my arms like you right after i had my baby. but it was under both arms. I was actually scared to go to the doctor and eventually it went away but itself! You really should go to your doctor to see what is going on. If anything, at least he would put your mind at ease!
Reply:I would call my doctor immediately. It sounds like you have an infection brewing..the bumps under your armpits could be swollen glands from the infection. Don't delay on this..having had 2 c-sections myself and some minor complications with the second one I wouldn't hesistate for another moment to call and get seen!

Good luck
Reply:Since it's always better to be err on the side of caution, I would find someone to watch the baby for a few hours and then get to the emergency room. I don't know what would cause a painful pump under your other arm, but I have some suspicions. The ER docs can tell you for sure. Take care of yourself!
Reply:definitely call you doctor, but i have had 2 c sections and never had that happen. call the hospital, or just go in to the er and get checked. something is abnormal.
Reply:That doesn't sound related to your C-section. Calm down, everything will be fine. Go to a different Doctor or go again, if you're still worried. GL :)
Reply:Call your doctor... seriously... you may get some really goofy uncalled for answers on here and this is a serious situation for you...
Reply:This sounds like a recurring infection. You need to be seen by a doctor - call your doctor and explain the situation, then follow their instructions. This sounds like an infection - you may need an additional round of IV antibiotics - you could have developed a secondary infection from being in the hospital - this happens alot - there are superbugs out there now too - that are really dangerous - you don't want to mess with this - take it seriously.
Reply:Go to the hosp or doctors. Just in case
Reply:This is deffinatley not normal. Get a second opinon. I'm really concerned for you something isnt right and it sounds like your doc isnt telling you everything.
Reply:Different strokes for different folks my dear please contact your Dr. Everyone aches and pains are not the same..And I see that you have..asked your MD, and continue asking them. Asking that on here is not cool. My godchild just had her first baby just a few days ago and via C-section..she talks to her mom about this and that and her mom advised her to speak to her Dr..Is ok to seek comforting advise but nevertheless how to fix it is another matter that you should continue to address it to a MD, good luck.
Reply:im not sure what it is but go to a different dr and talk to them and see what they say! Pains from the csection-sorry to say but you gotta deal with them- i have had 2 and still deal with all the pain...sorry
Reply:I've have had a C-section and I don't believe it's normal to still be having pain. The doctor checks under your arm to feel your lymph nodes. They get swollen and painful when you have an infection. Go back to see your doctor and ask her exactly what is wrong. If you don't get answers you understand, get another opinion-quickly!
Reply:Call your doctor.
Reply:The lump under your arm could be caused by your lymph nodes getting swollen because of the infection that your body was fighting. You need to go to the doctor because if they are painful that is a sign that it is turning into a staph infection/ boil. Which need to be drained and you need antibiotics for the infection.

I had the same thing, nothing to do with the c section.

Good Luck!
Reply:Yes this is perfectly normal. Those glands she is looking for in your arm pits are your milk glands and she is just checking that there is no infection or clogged milk ducts, i.e mastitis.

Dont worry about it, and the pain you feel in your back will remain for a few months and thats from the epidural and the pregnancy. Just be easy on your back and yourself
