P.c problem, can anyone help????
Hmmm...that's a smart toddler who found that option. Go to Start%26gt;Control Panel%26gt;Display%26gt;Settings and slide the screen resolution bar to the right until it looks right again.

Oh, and undo your font changes or it will be unreadable once you change it back.
Reply:Right click with the mouse and go to properties, then to to settings and use the one that looks best, I have 1024 x 768
Reply:Control panel, display, properties .
Reply:there should be a button(or a few) on the front of the monitor check the little one hasnt touched one of them like mine did! took me ages to get it right....hahaha

kids - don't you just love em!
Reply:If you PC works like mine, I think your lil'rascal just changed the zoom level at the bottom right-hand corner; that goes from 50% to 400%.

Honestly, I think you should keep a toddler well away from the computer; I am a mother too and a primary school teacher and I KNOW that our modern kids suffer terribly from being brought up with an umbilical cord linked to TV or PC; they NEED natural, stimulation and, yes, give him a cardboard box and a pen and he'll re-build the world, especially if you sit down with him and encourage him.
Reply:Close everything and with just your desktop Icons showing, right click on the screen, then click on 'properties', then click on 'settings', then move the screen resolution arrow one click to the right. This will make everything smaller on your monitor's screen.
Reply:Right cliick on the desktop and go to properties, then settings. Move the slider bar up one notch at a time and see if it looks better. Yours is probably set at 640x480 or 800x600.
Reply:Choose System Restore from the Help %26amp; Support screen. Choose a date earlier than when your toddler messed with things.
Reply:click , start , programs , accessories , system restore and take it back the day before your child went to it
Reply:It sounds like your toddler may have changed the display properties. If you right-click anywhere on the desktop (not on an icon) and go to properties, a window should open up. In this window, there are a few tabs on the top, one should say 'settings'. If you click on this there should be an option for 'screen resolution'. You can slide it to less (left), which makes everything large, or more (right), which should make everything smaller.

Hope this helps.
Reply:are you speaking of the resolution size on your desktop....right click on your desktop, click on properties, then settings and check your resolution, some pcs run on 800x600 or 1024x768 pixels...try them and ses how you get on
Reply:Could your "toddler" have messed with the screen resolution setting? (Right click on the screen, select Properties, then check out the rightmost tab, which is labeled "Settings".) But this doesn't *sound* like something a *toddler* would be able to find...
Reply:It seems the little one has managed to changed the resolution of your screen. Go to START/SETTINGS/CONTROL PANEL/DISPLAY. Once the new screen appear, go to the last tab called SETTINGS where you would be able to change the resolution of your screen, making smaller or bigger your image.

I hope it solved the issue.
Reply:goto Control Panel...then...Display.......click Appearance Tab and select "Normal Font"....this will do it.
Reply:Could be a number of reasons.

Start with this.

Right click the desktop, then choose 'Properties'.

Now select the 'Settings' Tab.

Look for the 'Screen resolution' area. There should be a slider. Move this right a little (try moving it until you reach 1024 by 768 pixels) then click 'Apply'.

If that doesn't look like its done anything (or did a bit but not enough) move the slider right bit by bit, and that will resize the screen.

Get back if this doesn't seem to work there are a few ways to make things 'big' in windows! Good luck
