Something's up with windows system32 and I don't know how to repair it. I've got antivirus, spybot, and other programmes simular but nothing stops my p.c from skipping autocheck as my p.c's booting up and the message appearing every two minutes in the corner of my screen . please help. xx

Please help. p.c skips autocheck when starting up.?
Boot into your system

Click Start-%26gt;Run

Type 'cmd'

Inside the command prompt type:

fsutil dirty query c: %26lt;-C is drive it is scanning

chkntfs /x c %26lt;-c again is drive that is being scanned

It is recommended that you run a manual scan once you do this to make sure there are no 'dirty' bits on your drive, do this by launching the cmd and typing:

Chkdsk /f /r c

fsutil dirty query c
Reply:Autocheck (chkdsk.exe) isin't supposed to automatically run every time you boot windows, just when windows has been shut down improperly.

My reccomendation is to boot to safe mode (F8 on boot up), and log in as administrator. Run your checkdisk utility, and while youre at it, run all of your other maintenance utilities as well as your virus/spyware scans.
Reply:its difficult for u but i got one solution in my mind

format ur hard disk and install ur window again
